RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY (Widerrufs- und Rückgaberecht)

1. Custom-Made Products
All products sold by Funking Kunst are custom-made, print-on-demand items produced specifically for your order. Under German law (§312g BGB), custom-made products are excluded from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales.
This means:
- You cannot return products simply because you changed your mind
- You cannot return products due to incorrect size or color selection
- Standard returns for personal preference are not accepted
2. Defective or Damaged Products
We stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or significantly different from what you ordered, we will make it right.
2.1 Quality Guarantee Coverage
We will provide a free replacement for:
- Products with printing defects or errors
- Items damaged during production or shipping
- Products with manufacturing defects
- Incorrect items shipped
2.2 Not Covered
The following are not considered defects:
- Minor color variations due to different screen displays or printing processes
- Slight variations in product dimensions (within industry-standard tolerances)
- Natural characteristics of materials (e.g., fabric texture variations)
3. How to Report a Quality Issue
If you believe your product is defective or damaged:
- Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order

- Provide:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the defect or damage
- Description of the issue
4. Returns Process
Step 1: Contact us with your quality issue
Step 2: We will review your claim (usually within 2-3 business days)
Step 3: If approved, we will provide return instructions
Step 4: Ship the item back to the address we provide
Step 5: Once we receive and inspect the item, we’ll send a replacement
Return shipping costs: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked shipping method.
5. Replacement Timeline
- After we receive your returned item, we will inspect it within 3 business days
- If your claim is validated, we will immediately produce and ship a replacement
- Production and shipping typically takes 5-10 business days depending on your location
6. Lost or Undelivered Orders
If your order is lost in transit or shows as “returned to sender”:
- Contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date
- We will investigate with the shipping carrier
- If confirmed lost, we will send a replacement at no charge
7. Wrong Address
If you provide an incorrect or incomplete shipping address:
- The order may be returned to sender or lost
- You are responsible for the cost of a new order with the correct address
- Please double-check your shipping information before placing your order
